I have been living in Lushnje, a town in the heart of Albania, since 2023. Here, together with Kisha Mozaik, I am committed to helping disadvantaged children, young people and families - with full dedication and a deep desire to bring about real change. Our local projects range from an afternoon program for Roma children to regular food parcels for families in need and inspiring church services.
We create spaces in which people are accepted, encouraged and spiritually strengthened. Our belief in the potential of each individual motivates us to combine education, faith and practical help. Because we are convinced that when love becomes concrete, hope arises - and hope changes lives.

Creating opportunities with education
Our afternoon school supports disadvantaged children in Lushnje with learning support, hot meals and personal guidance. From Monday to Thursday, they experience a safe place full of encouragement, community and spiritual input. We boost self-confidence, promote academic achievement and teach Christian values - so that every child can shape their future with hope.

Food parcels
Every winter from November to April, we distribute monthly food parcels to 45 needy families in Lushnje. The parcels contain basic foodstuffs such as rice, flour, oil and pasta and help the families to survive the cold season better. Our campaign brings practical help to where it is most urgently needed - and is an expression of charity in action.

Celebrate God
Saturday services
Our Saturday services in Lushnje are a place of hope, encounter and renewal. People from all backgrounds are welcome to celebrate God together, experience encouragement and grow spiritually. With modern music, true-to-life sermons and warm fellowship, we create space for real relationship with God and with each other. The service begins every Saturday evening in the Kisha Mozaik - open to all who seek and believe.

Ermutigungswelle e.V. and Kisha Mozaik in Lushnje are united by a deep partnership based on a shared vision, mutual trust, and practical acts of love. Both organizations believe in the potential of every person and are committed to bringing about sustainable change—through education, spiritual growth, and concrete assistance. While Kisha Mozaik serves people on the ground in Albania with great dedication, Ermutigungswelle supports this work ideologically, organizationally, and financially. André Springhut, the president of Ermutigungswelle, lives in Lushnje himself and is actively involved in Kisha Mozaik’s church ministry. This partnership thrives on genuine relationships—across national borders, yet united in the mission to make God’s love tangible.
WHAT IS THE KISHA MOZAIK?
Kisha Mozaik is a lively and diverse church community in Lushnje, Albania. Since it was founded in 2015 by Sajmir Brazhdi and Irma Voka, it has shaped the cityscape through its commitment to disadvantaged children, young people and families. The congregation lives practical charity and spiritual community - through educational programs, church services, pastoral care and social aid.

WHO ARE SAJMIR AND IRMA?
Sajmir Brazhdi is the senior pastor of Kisha Mozaik and also the country director of the Christian youth network Fusion in Albania. His wife Irma Voka runs the afterschool program with great passion. Together they live for their calling to encourage people to grow in their identity and get to know Jesus. Their passion: the church should be a place of hope, healing and new perspectives.
